Lately, I have really been struggling with my calling in life. I have never felt like I have found “my place” or niche in life/career. I am currently in a Bible study, and the leader really encourages us to find our passion and live this out in the world today. I have to say it is very encouraging to hear. One thing that I know for sure is I want to live an extraordinary life, I know lofty goal right?
Another thing I know: Cubicle=not Extraordinary. I know all the talk “Life is what you make it or you can make any situation extraordinary and purposeful,” but I know that I am called to more than my current job status. I think that is why I am so restless where I am now. Last week in Bible study, we were talking about deserts in your life. The spiritual deserts that we go through are a part of God’s plan for our life. We just never know how long we will have to be in the deserts before we start back up the mountain. I know deserts are difficult, but we are supposed to thank God for them. The spiritual deserts bring us to where we are supposed to be. So as I trek through this desert in my life, I have hope that it is leading me to my passion.
